SAEN Unveiling – Fall 2016

Posted on

Date: October 28, 2016

Time: 4:30 - 6:00 pm

Location: Center for African Studies (CAS) Lawn

Held in the charming corridors of the Center of African Studies Encina Hall, the SAEN team was proud to host our first event as an official Stanford group. In an atmosphere charged with excitement and a sense of community, we introduced our history, mission, plans for the upcoming year as well as the team of students and collaborators that make all this happen. The audience was treated to delicious Somali food and entertained to a mock run through of our Impromptu Innovation Pitch Event. Tackling the topic area “Access to Elementary Education,” the SAEN team presented high-level suggestions to the question “How can we make education materials accessible to low income communities?”
